Majek Fashek’s manager, Uzoma Omenka has slammed Daddy Freeze for calling out the legendary musician who recently performed at the Christmas concert of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo’s COZA church in Abuja.

Freeze had earlier said, ‘I am still searching for the sense in this. I am a huge Majek fan, but do I want to see him perform in a church’.

In his response, Uzoma made a video message with Majek Fashek by his side blasting Daddy Freeze for his utterance and warning him never to mention Majek’s name else he’ll be beaten up.

According to him, ‘there’s nothing wrong with a world class legend Majek Fashek who’s music sends the right message to be invited to perform in any church. To Daddy Freeze you need to do your research properly before wagging your mouth and speaking like a Kid. And as Majek has said you need to repent. @biodunfatoyinbo thank you once more for impacting positively into the life’s of Young Nigerian and making the believe in themselves’.

Maheeda Reveals What Her On..Bad Girl

Being married and having a daughter hasn’t stopped Maheeda from exposing her body and engaging it other sensual acts on social media before her teeming followers.

Whenever the name Maheeda is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is controversy, s*x and newdity.
The goddess of X and Naija Bad Girl as she is usually called isn’t afraid to go unclad constantly releasing nvde photos of herself online and s*xually explicit videos but at the beginning of year 2017 the mother of one promised to sheath her wantonness and be more of a mother figure to her daughter.
Whether the Lasgidi Girl has wholesomely kept to her promise is a matter for another day, but her recent post on her Instagram page gives enough hint of her fidelity to her promise as she made public her preference when it comes to p*rnographic films.
In the post, Maheeda, born Caroline Sam, owned up she loves watching p*rnographic films and explains the type that really suits her taste  “I love to watch p*rns,” she says.

“And when I do, I find myself watching two ladies, or two ladies and a guy, it turns me on,” she added.
This declaration, as flimsy as it may sound may have confirmed the early suggestion by the singer that her s*xuality is not all straight. “If I say I’m a bis*xual, what would you say or think of me,” she had earlier posted.

How Kiss Daniel Accused His Family of Doing Juju (Read Full Details)

Kiss Daniel has kept mute after his former record label exposed how he allegedly accused his family members of killing his father through diabolical means.

The fallout between singer, Kiss Daniel, and his estranged label, G-Worldwide, is getting more interesting by the day.
Ever since news of the rift broke out, there have been lots of accusations and counter-accusations between both parties. According to some reports, the label allegedly paid Kiss Daniel a salary of N30, 000 monthly until after he released his sophomore single, Laye. However, the label stated that it had paid over N120m to the singer since the contract was signed.
Kiss Daniel’s camp had also alleged that G-Worldwide prevented the Yeba singer from attending his father’s burial in 2015. However, in a statement made available to Sunday Scoop, the label denied the allegation.
“Immediately the news of his father’s demise filtered in, Emperor Geezy, CEO of the label, authorised that his personal car should be used to convey Kiss Daniel to Abeokuta to attend his father’s burial. The singer only requested for two days’ leave, and N200,000 to send to his relatives, who had to bury the dad immediately because he was a Muslim. At that time, Kiss was bitterly angry that none of his family members could come up with even N10,000 to support his dad’s burial. The company was willing to give him more money but he said he needed only N200,000. The label CEO’s brother and one other person from the company even accompanied him on the trip back home. Interestingly, on arriving at a hotel in Abeokuta, which had been fully paid for by the label, Kiss refused to attend his own father’s burial on the grounds that he believed that his family was fetish. He said that his father’s death was not ordinary, considering the way he suddenly fell ill and died, after going through a lot of pain. He was scared and said he did not want to be exposed to any dangers. On the night of his arrival in Abeokuta, his younger brother was on his way to visit him when he got involved in a car accident. The label took care of his brother’s medical bills, and paid up to N300,000,” the statement read.
Reacting to claims that G-Worldwide barred Daniel from supporting other artistes, the label stated that Kiss, on his own, decided not to attend some events, even though his management had approved them.
The label wrote, “In response to the claim that Kiss Daniel was barred from supporting other artistes, especially those who supported him and the label at the New Era album launch, we would like to put it on record that at no time did the label bar him from performing at events where friends in the industry had asked for his support. Kiss Daniel however made it a habit to turn up at events late or not at all, always blaming the label for his truancy. Clear examples include his failing to appear at Reekado Banks’ album listening party and 2face’s Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless concert. He did this even when 2Baba had provided two separate accommodations for him and his manager at Eko Hotels. He stood up 2face and his manager from 6pm till 1am the next day, claiming that he was on his way, but he never showed up. He repeated the same behaviour at the Chronicles of Ushebebe show, Soundcity’s 2016 MVP Awards, and many others.”
Meanwhile, when Sunday Scoop, reached out to Kiss Daniel, his handlers declined to comment, saying that they would make some revelations ‘when the time is right.’

Nigerian Dancehall Singer, Burna Boy Locked Up in SARS Cell with Other Robbery Suspects

Burna Boy who is facing accusations of orchestrating the brutal robbery attack on fellow singer, Mr 2Kay has been confined in the SARS cell since on Friday pending on when he would be charged to court tomorrow.

Hip hop musician, Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy, is currently cooling his heels in the custody of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos State Command.
The embattled artiste has spent two days with criminals held in a SARS cell for offences ranging from robbery to theft. He was reportedly being investigated for conspiracy in the robbery of his colleague, Abiye Jumbo aka Mr. 2Kay.

Burna Boy, who was declared wanted by the state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, on November 20, was apprehended on Friday and detained.
Four suspects, including Burna Boy’s road manager, Joel Kantiok, had been paraded for allegedly robbing Mr. 2Kay on October 22, in his room at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, shortly after “Buckwyld N Breathless” concert held in the facility.
During the parade, the suspects, except Kantiok, confessed to have carried out the attack on the order of Burna Boy.

The assailants had disguised as room service officials to gain entry into the singer’s room.
They reportedly beat him up and dispossessed him of a wristwatch, gold jewellery, phones among other valuables estimated at millions of naira at gunpoint.
They subsequently tied him up and fled with their loot. A police source told a correspondent on Saturday that the singer was still making statements to detectives.
The source said, “He is currently in the SARS custody and he is helping the police in the investigation. For now, I can’t say categorically what his charges will be but definitely they are related to robbery for which the other suspects were arraigned.”
Another police officer, who is privy to the case, said Burna Boy’s arraignment might not come up on Monday as planned, noting that investigators wanted to present watertight charges against him before the court.
The officer said, “His statements are still being taken and there are more revelations. We don’t want to rush to court with charges that will be struck out for lack of evidence.

“The essence of prosecution is to secure a conviction at the end of the day. That is what we want to ensure.”
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chike Oti, confirmed that the artiste was being held at SARS, adding that the Investigating Police Officer would come up with the appropriate charges.

“He will be charged to court on Monday,” he added.

Yinka Ayefele Opens Up on Developing Erection on Sickbed

Nigerian gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele who was confined to the wheelchair since having an accident over a decade ago has spoken about an awkward moment.

Everyone knows Yinka Ayefele became famous after he survived an accident that almost ended his life on December 12, 1997. What most people don’t know is that doctors had concluded that he would never be able to perform sexually again.
Celebrating 20 years after the nightmarish accident, Ayefele told Sunday Scoop that on the day he first had an erection while he was in hospital, everyone became ecstatic.
He said, “After the accident, everyone jubilated when I had an erection one afternoon.  I was wondering why they were rejoicing and they told me the doctors said I would not be able to have an erection again. They had reached the conclusion without my knowledge.”
He admitted that life would have become meaningless had he not regained the ability to have an erection. But even in the midst of the trouble, he never reasoned that his girlfriend, who later became his wife, would forsake him.
He reacted, “She didn’t leave me when I was hospitalised, so why would she leave me afterwards? When things were bad, she was with me all through.  We got married after the accident and we are blessed with four boys.”
He stressed that he had stopped bothering himself about people who still believe the accident might have rendered him impotent even though he confessed that in the past, such things bothered him.
He recalled, “I can still remember my response to a journalist who wanted to be sure I could impregnate a woman. I told him to bring his sister if he wanted a confirmation. It used to be embarrassing when people questioned my sexual ability.

“Even if I am unable to make love to a woman, should that make them happy? Even if my wife and I opted for IVF, is it something they should gloat about?”
20 years after, Ayefele still feels pains and said he has decided to stop taking pills because he fears that it may affect his kidney or liver.
He explained further, “I am still feeling pains; I am always in pain every day. Pills cannot even stop the pains and I am conscious of what I take in, but I thank God I have been able to cope. I give thanks to God for sparing my life.

“I personally thought I would die, but my parents and loved ones encouraged me to stay alive. They felt bad, but they didn’t want to lose me. My father was alive then, but I lost him two years ago. He was so supportive all through the trying times.”
Recalling the circumstances that confined him to the wheelchair, he said, “I was on my way to Abeokuta, but I lost control of the car because it rained heavily that day. The car fell into a deep pit. I was taken to a nearby hospital, but they couldn’t handle my case because I was vomiting blood. I was taken to another hospital where it was discovered that I had a spinal cord injury.

“I was then transferred to the University College Hospital, Ibadan, where I stayed for almost a year before I was discharged. Much later, I raised funds and travelled to the United Kingdom, for specialised treatment.”

Davido’s Former Manager Reveals Davido Didn’t Sack Him, He Left Voluntarily… Says He Couldn’t Control Him

The relationship between singer, Davido and his former manager, Kamal Ajiboye, was one that will always be remembered as a fruitful partnership that opened the door to international deals for the artiste.

The relationship however was believed to have reached a sad end when the singer made an announcement on social media confirming the end of their partnership. It was assumed that the singer fired his then manager and observers did not expect the singer to end his relationship with Kamal in such manner, especially because of the latter’s revered status in the entertainment industry. In an exclusive chat with Sunday Scoop, Kamal debunked the assumption that he was fired via social media. He said;“Davido didn’t give me the sack via social media. He was in Gabon when he wrote ‘I am now my own manager’ on Snapchat. Funnily, I was the one who drove him to the airport. Before then, we had had conversations about moving forward and I realised that what he wanted was different from mine. I wanted something bigger for him, but he was comfortable with what he wanted to do.”

While admitting that Davido is a big client, Kamal maintained that parting ways with him had not affected his career as an artiste’s manager.

“I was prepared for it; I was the one who left voluntarily. It was something I thought about for a while. I wanted something I could control. This doesn’t mean I couldn’t control him, but Davido is a lot of pieces. When an artiste is big like he is, trust me it is not easy to control him. I didn’t lose control over him, but it got to a point where we had different goals.

“We are still cool; I see him as my friend and family. I still have a good relationship with the family members too; so there is no bad blood,” he said.

Presently managing Seyi Shay, Kamal further revealed that he didn’t fear that he would lose relevance once he stopped working with Davido.

“I have a good relationship with everyone. People who are familiar with me know that I am a man of my word. Whenever I set out to do something, I don’t look back. I think people appreciate this about me. I never got carried away because I was managing Davido. Then, I ensured that I always reached out to people and hung out with my friends.  So, after the split, I had a lot of support from my friends within and outside the industry.

“The split had nothing to do with the fact that I didn’t support his decision to snub the international deal he got with Sony Music. You know when artistes want to sell their market, they say different things.”

He urged other managers to build themselves and brands regardless of how big their artistes could be because they might walk away someday.

“Once a big artiste leaves a manager, it becomes hard for him or her to survive. But that shouldn’t be the case and I believe we must have learnt our lessons. When you are managing an artiste, you need to start building a brand for yourself because nothing lasts forever,” Kamal stated.

G-Worldwide Has Paid Kiss Daniel Over NGN120 Million Naira & Singer Accused His Family Members Of Being Fetish

G-Worldwide Entertainmenthas released a statement, addressing Kiss Daniel’s allegation of being placed on a 30k monthly salary for a long time by the music label.

According to the statement which countered Kiss Daniel’s allegation following his exit from the label to set up his own music label,‘FlyBoy Inc‘, the artiste who reportedly accused his family members of being fetish has been paid over N120Million.

The Statement reads;

There has been a lot of misinformation in the media as to the background of Kiss Daniel’s wrongful exit from G-Worldwide Entertainment; firstly the management of G-Worldwide Entertainment wishes to state it had never been its intention to seek legal redress, nor join issues with an artist who we fear is being given bad legal advice. However, we feel it is important that we set the records straight for the benefit of the general public and others who are interested in knowing the truth.
We would like to reiterate that our organization’s sole mission is to scout, develop and promote artists till the point where both partners become profitable and the artiste can then decide to continue their creative journey as they deem fit. Contrary to widespread insinuations (and though we love a good joke) we are not a slave camp and we have no time whatsoever held any of the talents on our roster against their will.

The issue of restrictions on collaboration by our artists is one which has been well flogged and one we will address immediately – our management policy is unique in that we look for innovative ways to position our artists to build and own their sound and brands before seeking to collaborate with artists from other labels. To make this work, we train and develop our artists in a way that ensures that their first albums are well composed and delivered in a way that gives them the platform to sell their art as strong individual brands. This strategy is not without its results as is evident from Kiss Daniel’s debut album “New Era” receiving many positive reviews and landing the 8th place on the Billboard’s World Album Chart within a week of release. The Nigerian music industry is very competitive, and as such, it is pertinent that players in the market develop unique strategies to break in and remain relevant.
The New Era album of Kiss Daniel therefore only contained collaborative efforts with his label mate Sugarboy. However, on the soon to be released album ‘Evolution’ by Kiss Daniel, we have worked with other talents such as Phyno and Olamide. Sugarboy has also collaborated with Y-Cee on a song due to be released in January 2018.
There have also been issues raised that the company has not made available its books of accounts to Kiss Daniel, leading to him filing an action at the Lagos State High Court seeking an order granting him access to the books of the company. Whilst our lawyers have filed the necessary papers to strike out the suit, it is pertinent that we briefly note that at no time have we denied the artiste or his lawyers access to our books. With the facts we have, it is our belief that the suit is a ploy to misdirect the public away from his untimely and unlawful exit from the company. The label has records of email correspondence with Kiss Daniel where he and his representatives at different times requested for books of the company and same were supplied to them. All these have been placed before the court in response to the suit filed by the artist at the Lagos State High Court. Until now neither he nor his representatives have responded to papers filed challenging the competence of that suit. Sadly too, even though Kiss complained about access, in another breath he has admitted the audits held by his accountants and the label’s accountant.

Apart from the above, there have been rumours that Kiss Daniel has been on a monthly stipend of NGN 50,000 (Another great joke if we ever heard one). It is a known fact that such amounts will be insufficient to find and retain a decent apartment in Lagos nor cater for the lifestyle of any Nigerian celebrity. Kiss Daniel, contrary to that rumour, has received substantial allowances over the last two and half years.

In 2013, he was offered a 360 deal, and the terms of the initial contract have been reviewed twice in his favour, whilst the company has had to bankroll obligations relating to advertising, promotions, music production, videos, trips, wardrobe etc. at different times. Indeed, the company has been quite flexible with our remuneration policies with the belief that he will be able to build a solid financial base for himself. For the avoidance of doubt the following are some details of how the label catered for his financial needs as well as his personal welfare:

1. Contrary to rumours making the rounds that Kiss Daniel was only on NGN 30,000 salary since he joined the label up until after the release of the Woju and Laye singles, this is nothing but falsehood. Before the release of those singles in 2014, Kiss Daniel was being paid a monthly allowance of NGN 30,000 to cover basic personal costs whilst he was still in his father’s house in Kuto, Abeokuta, he was also given a medical allowance of NGN 150,000 and other unrecorded stipends whilst no revenue was being generated by him. This remained the norm while the label invested heavily in recording sessions, productions, transportation, and other costs associated with developing him as an artist.

2. Loans of up to NGN 550,000 were given to him within 2 weeks of his signing onto the label for him to get a car for his mom to start a Taxi business. There are documents to back this. In addition following his request for financial support for his dad’s burial, G-Worldwide released the sum of NGN 200,000 to him which was exactly what Kiss Daniel requested for. As recent as October 2017, he again requested for a loan to run his account in order to acquire a house for himself under a mortgage, to this end the company released NGN 13,000,000 (Thirteen Million Naira) to him though the company was not obligated under the contract to do so.

3. As per the contract between Kiss Daniel and G-Worldwide, the label was meant to recoup its investment before any royalty-sharing was to commence; the only provision available for the artiste was allowances and loans which would be at the discretion of the label. In June 2015 following his return from his UK tour, the company amended the contract and immediately began the payment of royalties as agreed and from that time till the wrongful termination of his contract. G-Worldwide has paid Kiss Daniel the sum of NGN 117,233,318 (One Hundred and Seventeen Million, Two Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand and Three Hundred and Eighteen Naira) as royalties from performances alone, he has also received money from other incomes to the sum of NGN
3,296,826.40 (Three Million, Two Hundred and Ninety Six Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Six Naira and forty kobo) for the financial record of 2016 as opposed to the false allegations made by him and his lawyers (The company’s books of account support this) As it stands, Kiss Daniel owes G-Worldwide Entertainment quite a large sum of money for the financial year due to end in 2018.

4. Following the signing of the contract in 2013, Kiss Daniel moved into an apartment furnished by the label in April 2014 in Lekki Lagos and only moved out in October 2015. Despite the terrible picture painted by Kiss Daniel to the media, the label actually during that period undertook the payment of all the bills in the said apartment, including waste, power, service charges, feeding, etc.

5. We have also noted the falsehood that at the time of his father’s demise, the label barred him from attending the burial. Let it be on record that immediately the news of his father’s demise filtered in, Emperor Geezy, CEO of the label authorized that his own personal car is used to convey Kiss Daniel to Abeokuta to attend and be a part of his father’s burial. The label CEO’s brother even accompanied him on this trip, as well as one of the label’s staff. Interestingly on arriving at a hotel in Abeokuta which had been fully paid for by the label, he refused to attend his own father’s burial on the grounds that he believed that his family are fetish and were responsible for his father’s death.

6. In response to the claim that Kiss Daniel was barred from supporting other artists, especially those who supported him and the label at the New Era album launch, we would like to put it on record that at no time has the label barred him from performing at events where friends in the industry have asked for his support. We understand the importance of collaborative efforts in a fledgling industry such as ours. Kiss Daniel, however, has made it a habit to turn up at events late or not at all, always blaming the label for his truancy. Clear examples include his failure to appear at the Reekado Banks album listening party at Hard Rock Café and the recent 2Baba Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless Concert on 22nd of October, 2017 at Eko Hotel.

He did this even when 2Baba had provided two separate accommodations for him and his manager Louiza Williams at Eko Hotels, and the label had covered other logistics costs. He stood up 2Baba and manager after claiming he was on his way from 6pm till 1am the next day. He repeated the same show of shame at the Chronicles of Ushebebe and Soundcity’s 2016 MVP Awards. His excuse always being that the label has restricted him from supporting other talents in the industry. His favourite saying: “You know I’m signed to a label na, I’m not my own boss yet”. One should wonder why his manager would be at these venues to liaise with the event organizers before his arrival if he wasn’t approved by the label to be at those events. His usual play was to ask the manager if money is involved and once she says “no we are going to support” he will either not take his calls once she’s around his house for takeoff, or switch off his phones and later complain that he was not feeling too well or had an urgent meeting at Abeokuta.

Last year, many people wondered how we managed to pull off such a massive concert for his New Era album launch with no support from any organization. That event which included the lease of the prestigious Eko Hotels with over 20 superstars was one of the most expensive projects the company ever embarked upon.

Nevertheless, we understand that artists grow with their songs and popularity, and may eventually seek an early exit. That being said, a contract between two parties is a legally binding arrangement and both parties having deployed resources to perform obligations thereunder must ensure that the contract is executed or terminated in line with its terms and conditions.

G-Worldwide’s contract with Kiss Daniel simply put, allows for the artiste to exit, but in so doing, he is duty bound to repay to the company all monies expended by the company in furtherance of the contract and all losses; including losses suffered from the cancellation of fixed events and shows by reason of the termination. The contract is also expressly clear on the fact that intellectual property rights to all the songs produced under the contract including the stage name of the artiste are properties of the company. We know that so far, Kiss Daniel has kept these facts away from the public; choosing to resort to cheap blackmail and whipping up emotions. We will not take this route as a responsible company and this is why we are in court.

We have done our best not to harp on the history of his recalcitrance.

Nevertheless, we are harassed by different lawyers (his present lawyer is the fourth) with outrageous demands, but we have retained the opinion that some terms cannot be imposed on us. Most recently in October, he demanded going forward, 100% of revenues from his performances and endorsements even while he understands his level of indebtedness to us and the terms of the contracts. When he was referred to the contract terms, his response was to serve us a termination notice without even following the stipulations for termination under the contract. He thereafter announced his personal record label in less than nine (9) days after the undue notice and has since been soliciting bookings and infringing on G-Worldwide intellectual property rights by performing songs from the ‘New Era’ album and the yet to be released ‘Evolution’ album. This is the reason for the Federal High Court order of the 30th November 2017 stating that “both parties are ordered to maintain status quo ante bellum under the recording contract pending the hearing of the motion on notice.”

Law abiding organizations and business concerns have either contacted us for clarity, which we have provided through our solicitors, Calmhill Partners.

Other well advised entities have in support of the rule of law and sanctity of contracts, terminated their engagements with him or removed him from performance schedules. The Nigerian musical industry we believe will learn and grow from this incidence.

We have put everyone who wishes to contract Kiss Daniel on notice and advise that you should not allow yourselves be misinformed about the subject matter or be swayed by his misrepresentations or lack of capacity to perform some of the songs that he has been contracted to perform. Whilst we look forward to a speedy dispensation of justice in the matter before the Court, we reiterate our advice that event organizers should consult their lawyers to avoid being complicit in the offence of acting in contempt of court.

It remains illegal to deal with Kiss Daniel directly instead of G-Worldwide Management pending the hearing of the suit in Court.

On the recent spat between Wizkid & Davido:

I don’t really like to comment on that. Everyone that knows me, knows that I’m all for the notion of “there’s enough room for all of us”.

I just try and show them love as much as possible no matter where I go. When we was on tour in the US , we had a view instances where fans tried to pretend to be Press/Media so they could sneak into our entourage backstage.

On his current relationship status:

I’m single. I feel like it’s very important to be focused at this stage in my career, but you know what they say about love/romance, you never see it coming so at the same time I’m open to it.
