Celebrity designer Toyin Lawani has come out to accuse Bobrisky of trying to kill her. The CEO of Tiannah’s Empire disclosed that the cross dresser tried to use ‘juju’ on her.

According to Olisa TV, Lawani disclosed that she was warned by a close friend to stay away from Bobrisky as well as to immediately protect herself and her children. She revealed how he came to her shop to give her a polythene bag that contained a white cloth and guniea fowl.

Lawani said: “Few days after I issued him a warning, Idris came to Tiannah’s Empire with a black polythene bag and the security guards prevented his entry. I went downstairs to ask what he wanted and he said he had come to apologise for his misdeeds. He handed me the polythene bag and when I opened it, I saw white clothes and a guinea fowl inside. I threw the bag on the floor and asked one of my employees, Dayo, to burn it while also warning Idris to never again visit me with such gifts.

I collapsed the next day and started bleeding heavily following which I was rushed to Ave Maria Hospital. I was informed the incident was linked to pre-existing concerns with fibroid but I believe it was caused by the diabolical items Idris brought as a supposed gift. I had a surgery and remained in the hospital for two months before I was discharged.

As soon as I returned to work, Idris showed up at the Empire, saying he heard I was ill but that he came for cash as the bank did not pay him because they could not reach me to confirm the cheque while I was hospitalised. I took the cheque from him and gave him cash then bid him good bye.”

On her owing Bobrisky N250,000, Lawani disclosed that it was the other way round. She disclosed that he ordered for products worth that amount and deposited N150,000 but were not given because he had outstanding debts of N200,000. It was reported that he made a deposit of

Lawani said: “He was owing my company almost N200,000 around the time after repeatedly buying clothes on credit and I informed him that I would use the money he paid towards the purchase of the speakers as his balance which would leave him with a balance of N65,000 and I gave him a cheque for that amount.”

Concerning his recent arrest, it was reported that Lawani had earlier reported Bobrisky’s death threat to the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) which was why he was arrested and taken to Abuja for questioning. According to her media team, he was not arrested because he tried to poach Toyin Lawani’s clients but for making threats to her life.

It was further revealed that Bobrisky once worked with Lawani for two months. She disclosed that when he came he was not wearing female clothes but wears makeup and fixes his nails. She said this got her son saying he wants to do the same but she told Bobrisky to stop dressing like that to her shop.

Bobrisky and Lawani earlier met when he came to her shop to treat his infected skin and black knuckles.

GHEN GHEN! ‘I CO-WROTE SKALES ‘SHAKE BODY SONG’ AND SAMKLEF WROTE ME A BOUNCED CHEQUE OF N1.2 MILLION’ – SINGER CALLS OUT SKALES

Humans can be really ungrateful and truly wicked. This is Skales; Nigerian afrobeats artist. I called him out on his page for being a fake nigga and he blocks me.

Here is the background story: In and around February 2014, i flew to Lagos from Toronto, to work on my music. This was just shortly after skales was dropped by EME, we met and worked on a song together (my song tittled “Down Low” produced by Samklef). Skales was paid for the feature. He was also really impressed with my style. Mind you this studio session took place at a hotel in Lekki Phase 1’.

‘The next afternoon, i went back to the hotel to grab the mix of the track from Samklef. On getting to the hotel, Skales approached me. We went into his hotel room; where there were a few producers, Including popular producers Jay Pizzle and Kenny Wonder. Going from the vybz from the previous night’s studio session, Skales played me the beat to “Shake body”.

At that point, he had already recorded the first verse (the english part of the song). He told me he was stuck and wanted me to vibe to it. I listened to the beat and wrote the French “Faro Faro” infused stlye lyrics to the song, with the exact flows he used to record the actual final mix of the song. Knowing fully well what he was going through at the time; being dropped from EME and just doing his thing at the time, i encouraged him and told him “Shake body” was the hit that would finally break him to the world. I didn’t know Skales for more than a day at that point’.

‘I didnt ask him for money. I didn’t even ask him for credit. Instead i offered him my friendship. A friendship he was always fake about. He even coluded with Samklef to Scam me off 1.2million naira in 2014. Samklef told me he was going to contract the video Shoot for the Song in which i featured Skales to @unlimitedla.

I paid him the sum total of N1.2 million all cost included. On the day of the shoot, Samklef told me he was going to direct the video himself, and that Unlimited LA wasn’t available to direct the video shoot. Reluctantly, i agreed to it. And the end result was a video i turned down; due to it being very much below standard. I asked for my refund Samklef wrote me a bounced cheque and till date hasn’t refunded my N1.2 million. Skales says i just became his enemy, but in truth he never treated me as a friend. Always on that fakeness’.

‘Truth be told, only real recognize real. Why did i decide to speak up? As you can see from Skales’ responses in our chat on WhatsApp, he believes I dont have a voice; however, I’m no pushover. On a normal day Skales ain’t on my level. Let it be known today that all cards will be counted’.

Small Doctor & Dammy Krane Also Copied Me – Jaywon

Following Sir Uwaifo’s accusation of Jaywon and Simi stealing his song JOROMI, Jaywon has finally reacted.

Speaking with Saturday Beats, Jaywon  admitted to getting inspiration via Sir Uwaifo’s hit  ‘Joromi,’ and that he tried getting in touch with the veteran for permission but all his effort proved abortive.

There is no way I can talk about my hit song, Joromi, without talking about Sir Victor Uwaifo, who we all grew up listening to his music. The whole idea of the song is different from Sir Victor Uwaifo’s but the title reminds anyone of his song. I cannot take away the fact that his song inspired mine. I felt that I should tap into the current beat making rounds in Africa with the song. My song is a love song and I also saw it as an opportunity to promote my artiste, Twist da Fireman, who was also on the song. He added a different sound to the song. I am happy everyone loves the song. I keep working because it is difficult to know the song people would love, so I keep working till I get it right.
The truth is that I actually wanted to write an official letter to Sir Victor Uwaifo about the issue but when I asked around, I was told that he was not in Lagos. It was just the title and they are not even pronounced the same way. I know what it means to tap into someone’s intellectual property. I would not be that stupid to take someone’s intellectual property without proper authorisation from the owner of the song. A lot of people do it but I cannot do such. The instrument I used in my song sounds nothing like what Sir Victor Uwaifo used in his.”

“You should never have to choose between two good things” – Banky W to Paul & Peter Okoye on their Birthday

RnB Singer, Banky W who is all set to marry his fiance, Adesua Etomi, in a traditional wedding that’d go down tomorrow, November 19, has wished singers, Peter and Paul Okoye, formerly PSquare, a Happy Birthday.

The birthday wish came with a little story, a metaphor, a food for thought. He shared, with a photo of beans and dodo, a long caption, which reads:

Which do you prefer?
I just got back to Nigeria recently, after the better part of 4 months away. Naturally, one of the things I missed the most while being away was the food. So I tried going to one of my favourite African restaurants to order some.
Everything seemed normal until I tried to place an order. I asked for beans and plantain… the waiter said I could have one or the other, but not the two at the same time. I was confused. I decided to go for Jollof rice and chicken. Same story. Pounded yam and Egusi??? No, sorry, it’s either pounded yam OR Egusi.. not both together. I was actually at a loss for words. This didn’t make sense to me, at all.
The waiter then tried to explain.. using words like “change”, “growth” and “trying a new direction”. But I didn’t and still don’t understand. Why change what was already perfect? He explained that any option I chose would still taste good. So, because hunger was killing me, I tried it. In the past few days I’d try plantain one day, and then beans another. Etc. And they did taste good. But they were perfect together. Absolutely perfect. The best of the best of African cuisine.
It’s unfortunate that sometimes, with growth, change and whatever-other-word U wanna use… we end up losing sight of where and how we started, and altering what was a perfectly working combination. It makes me sad.
But such is life I guess. For now, I will have to make do with either beans OR plantain, and either Jollof OR chicken, at different times.
It isn’t quite the same though, so here’s hoping one day someone will realize that U should never have to choose between two good things, when both, together, make a perfect combination.
I miss beans & dodo at my favourite restaurant. Sigh.
In other news, happy birthday @peterpsquare & @rudeboypsquare.
Shoutout to the chef @judeengees. I love you all. πŸ˜ŠπŸ€— #thebankstatements#foodforthought#yalldothedishes

Meek Mill To Be Released From Prison Soon “Files Documents”

American rapper, Meek Mill takes another step forward at his freedom.

After news broke that Meek Mill was sentenced to two to four years behind bars, it didn’t take long for people to stir up an uproar.
The reasoning behind his sentence was unjust and the judge responsible for the sentencing reportedly had it out for Meek in the first place. Despite all of this, his lawyer was not going to let Meek go to jail without a fight.
Meek has officially filed to be released from prison, TMZ reports. In addition to his release, he’s also demanding to have his probation completely terminated.
They say the documents were filed earlier this morning in PA and it reportedly cites Judge Genece Brinkley’s personal beef with him as a result of the unfair sentencing.
They documents they’ve acquired say Meek’s lawyer cites two separate incidents that violated his probation were ultimately dismissed charges. They even say Meek’s probation officer testified that he did well under probation.
On top of that, they want his probation cleared due to the fact that he’s matured over time and he’s proven to be a responsible father, has a profession and has also shown that he’s “generally been rehabilitated.”
They says he’s requested to be granted time served as well as his release.

The recently filed documents come at the heels of controversy surrounding Judge Genece Brinkley. After Meek’s attorney said that she had a personal vendetta against the rapper, he also filed to have the judge removed from the case completely.
That came shortly after it was reported she was under investigation by the FBI for “possible extortionate demand.”
Shortly after that, documents surfaced showing that she was allowing Meek associate with a convicted felon, which were against his probation conditions.
Earlier this week, fans and peers gathered in Philadelphia to rally for Meek Mill in freedom. Rick Ross and Dr. J as well as a large group of supporters were seen outside of the Criminal Justice Center in Meek’s hometown where they chanted “Free Meek.”
At one point during the protest, Rick Ross stepped up to the microphone to not only show support for Meek.

The main fight was between two of Nigeria’s very own artistes, Wizkid and Davido.

Davido expressed disappointment in the organizers allowing wizkid to perform before him. This obviously didn’t sit well with Wizkid and his people as it led to a big fight backstage.

Unfortunately, things got messy at the backstage which resulted in some mismanaged rendering Sarkodie not able to perform. Sarkodie and his crew were just caught up in the cross fire set between Wizkid and Davido.

The show had to end because the organizers were given the space till 3:00am.”

Sarkodie refused to perform in dubai..See Why

Evidently,a whole lot happened at the One African Music Fest in Dubai that has not been fully accounted for (Well that’s why we’re here).

Preceeding earlier reports at the events, David happens to be in yet another controversial mix. Word is, the host, Banky W, had already started introducing Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie on stage when he got a signal to introduce Davido instead.

This was disrespectful to Sarkodie as the rapper changed his mind, deciding not to perform again.

Sarkodie later took to twitter to apologize to his fans and also gave reason as to why he decided to change his mind.

Sorry to fans in Dubai but I’m not performing… hopefully I make it next time … πŸ™πŸΎ

— HIGHEST ➕ (@sarkodie) November 16, 2017

Nii wo kasa dodo lol agoro wo wani so … nobody plays with my brand and that be why we no step on that stage … I just feel for the fans that b why I tweet … you know me gyae ruff lol https://t.co/sOQhx23x5m

— HIGHEST ➕ (@sarkodie) November 17, 2017

Shatta Wale, who apparently had earlier had it going for Wizkid, was quick to respond to Sarkodie’s tweet saying its high times they respect their brand.

@sarkodie doesnt listen ,its high time u respect your brand bro …they using u too much …dont vex for the truth ..RespekπŸ’ͺπŸΏπŸ‡¬πŸ‡

— SHATTA WALE (@shattawalegh) November 17, 2017

Another fan who seemed to be at the event, took to twitter to narrate the story that caused Sarkodie to change his mind.

So this is what happened in Dubai smh disrespecting @sarkodie, artists cutting in and performing when they have not been called to perform, wanna feel say we be some day nursery kids eh? Talking about “One Africa” this does not portray respect, orderliness nor unity

— king of accra (@kingofaccra) November 17, 2017

Sarkodie then felt the turn of events were disrespectful and frustrating”.@nydjlive

— Bhard Man Cantona (@NanaBhard) November 17, 2017

only to find Davido repeat Wizkid’s act. Mounting the stage even without being called. Banky W, the host announced Sarkodie as the next performer while DJ Mensah set up only to be told again that Davido was coming up next. Banky W even seemed surprised.@nydjlive

— Bhard Man Cantona (@NanaBhard) November 17, 2017

“As always, Sarkodie and DJ were present at the venue on time and were to told would perform after Tiwa Savage only to find Wizkid jump unto the stage during Tiwa Savage’s performance even without being announced. The organizers then informed Sarkodie he would perform after Tekno

— Bhard Man Cantona (@NanaBhard) November 17, 2017

Sarkodie will no longer perform because of time constraints.

Banky W started introducing Sarkodie; talked about how he’s the African rap king blablabla, and then he was signaled to introduce Davido rather.
