Truth!!! Don Jazzy Reveals Reason He Signed Iyanya To His Label

CEO Mavins record, Don Jazzy, has again proved his genius by revealing earlier today, that he had signed former Triple MG star, Iyanya, to his label.
Speaking on the deal via a statement, the ace producer attributed it to Iyanya’s “versatility” saying:
“From the first time I stepped into the studio with him, there was an instant chemistry and energy. He is an amazing talent and he has great musical versatility.
“This is an exciting time for us and our fans have a lot of great music to look forward to. Iyanya brings his own unique style and sound to the Mavin Records family.”
The new deal came as a result of Iyanya, signing a management deal with Temple Management, a creative talent agency, whose sole aim is to aid the singer in launching a new phase in his career.
Speaking on the new record deal, Iyanya said:
“I am at a decision-making curve in my music career where I have to make the right professional and creative decisions. At this point, I realised the need to put in solid structures in place to move to the next level of my career.
“I think I have found that professional and creative backbone in Mavin Records.”

Ghen! Ghen!! Man Treks from Lagos to Zaria , You won't believe why..

A 26-year-old man, Tunde Agbaje, has reportedly trekked from the Ketu area of Lagos State to Zaria in Kaduna State. Agbaje, who is the cousin of a former People’s Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje, went on the adventure to prove his love for a lady, Sharon Donald.
It was gathered that 26-year-old Donald is the daughter of a former governor of a state in the South-South and had recently traveled to New York, United States of America.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Agbaje and Donald had met in Ikoyi, Lagos State, and had been friends for the past six years, but she had turned down his marriage proposal several times.
Agbaje said he decided to trek to Zaria to prove his love for Donald, adding that he was on the road for 19 days.
The Lagos State indigene was reportedly received on Friday, October 21, by the Chief Security Officer of the Ahmadu Bello University, Col J.K. Tukur; and the protocol office of the Emir of Zaria. He was later taken to a hospital where he was reportedly treated for the injuries he sustained during the trek, which was monitored by a GPS tracker.
Narrating how he met Donald, Agbaje said:
“I was with my friends sometime in 2010 and while we were discussing about ladies, I said I wished God would just show me my wife anytime soon. “About five minutes later, we were hungry and I went to get food on Awolowo Road. It was my first day at that eatery. I was waiting to be served as and when she walked in. Coincidentally, that day was also her first day there.
I observed that there was a love image at the back of the trousers she put on. “She approached me and asked what she could buy and I advised her. We later exchanged contacts and became friends. That was how my love for her started growing. We met several times afterwards.”
Agbaje said some months later, he decided to open up on his feelings for Donald, but she turned him down. He said he persisted, adding that when Donald didn’t bulge, he decided to do “what no man can do for her.”
“I chose to trek to Zaria because her parents dated for six years in ABU, Zaria, before they got married. I didn’t let my parents know and to ensure I was not disturbed, I changed my SIM card. I took a tracker along with me to monitor my movements. I never took a bus at any time.
It was a tough task and I even collapsed some of the times. I took off from Ketu on October 2 and arrived in Zaria on Thursday, October 20, around 4.15pm.
“I have no regret for what I have done. I have proved my love for her, even though she didn’t reciprocate my feeling. I believe even if she gets married to another person, nobody will ever be able to do what I did for her,” Agbaje added.
Our correspondent was told that the CSO of ABU, Tukur, called Donald to ask if she was aware of Agbaje’s adventure, which she acknowledged.
She, however, didn’t state if she would accept his proposal. The head of the protocol office of the Emir of Zaria, Mr. Abubakar Ladan, told our correspondent on the telephone that Agbaje was received at the palace. He added that the emir had stepped out when he arrived.
“I had a brief chat with him and after telling us his mission, we prayed for him and wished him the best,” he added.
When our correspondent contacted Donald, she said she knew Agbaje was embarking on the trek, adding that she warned him against it.
She said she had never had any relationship with him, describing him as a stalker. She said, “Tunde (Agbaje) has been harassing and stalking me for the past six years and as far as I am concerned, this is just a new escapade in a series of his harassment.
“I met Tunde at a church when I was living in Lagos and we were both part of the youth ministry. He never had a friendship, let alone a relationship, with me. I was in a music group and some of the youths had my phone number, including him.
“He later found out where I lived and came to my house. My mum warned him to leave me alone, but he refused.   I changed my phone number and moved to the US, but I don’t know how he got my contact. I have stopped picking calls from Nigeria because of him.
“He later called me and said he was going to trek to prove his love for me in a non-violent way and I told him not to do it because he could die. I said that not because I cared, but just for Christian charity. This guy is mentally unstable, because how can you still be stalking a woman who has turned you down for six years?”

Beware!!! New Deadly Disease Detected Worse Than HIV/AIDs That Condoms Can’t Stop

Bachelors too seem to prefer condoms as the popular method to protect against STIs. But for a virus whose disease has no symptoms, the inefficacy of condoms allows for faster and wider spread, especially amongst those with multiple sex partners.
The only 100 per cent effective way to prevent HPV transmission is abstinence from any s*xual contact, including oral, anul, and vaginal sex.
See also: Morning after:That ‘oops’ moment when women’s emergency pills backfire Since abstinence may not be a realistic option, Dr Mugo advises remaining monogamous while in a relationship, vaccination and screening for women. Women can also pass viruses without having any symptoms.
But the chance of females infecting men is estimated at less than five per cent of the rates of male-to-female transmission. There are more than 100 types of HIV and about 13 of these are cancer causing, with HIV types 16 and 18 causing approximately 70 per cent of all cervical cancers worldwide. Sadly, it’s physically difficult to tell whether your partner has the HPV virus unless they have private part warts, yet those who do not have visible signs can also spread the virus.
The other interesting aspect of this particular virus is that you do not need to have s8*x for it to be passed on from one person to another. The virus is found in the flora of the man-hood, scrotum, vag1na, vulva@, or anus of a person who has the HPV. One can get infected through kissing or touching an infected s8*x organs or through oral sex.
Since cervical cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths among adult women, in the developing world, and the second most common cancer among women worldwide, preventive measures include getting a pap smear for women and/or getting vaccinated. Better still, it’s important that you be honest with your partner about your s3’x history. Immunizing all girls before becoming sexually active ideally aged nine to 13 years in order to lower the risk of HPV took off in Kenya under a
pilot project in Kitui County in 2013, targeting 20,000 girls.

Eating Insects Can Give You All The Minerals Found In Beef

Feeding a planet of seven billion people and counting will be one of the great challenges of the 21st century, especially since traditional agriculture can have seriously negative effects on climate and the environment. So, why not bugs? Eating insects has become an increasingly popular possible solution to the question of how to feed a hungry humanity, and a new study indicates people can get all the minerals they would get from beef by chowing down on grasshoppers and crickets.

While eating insects remains an unfamiliar, even taboo concept in much of the world, it’s hardly uncommon: About two billion people live in cultures with insect-eating traditions. Multiple studies have already demonstrated that there’s no fundamental difference between the protein in insects and that in meat or fish – except of course for the fact that it takes thousands of crickets to equal the protein available from a single cow. But meat-eating humans don’t just rely on food like beef as a source of protein. Just as important are mineral nutrients like iron and zinc, both of which are crucial to the success of the body’s enzymes.

Researchers at King’s College London and China’s Ningbo University recently undertook the first extensive investigation of how much of different minerals can be found in commonly eaten insects like grasshoppers, crickets, and mealworms. In terms of raw concentrations of these minerals present, none of the insects could really compare with beef. For iron, perhaps the most crucial mineral that beef provides, only crickets come close to cows, and none of the other insects have even half as high a concentration of iron.

But that’s not the whole story, since the amount of minerals present in a given food source isn’t the same as the amount available for people to eat. The body doesn’t absorb all of the nutrients in food, and beef actually wastes a lot of minerals compared with insects. Minerals from insects are absorbed much more readily, generally in quantities that are as much or more than a person could expect to get from beef. Precise figures aren’t available for iron availability, hence why they’re not included on the chart, but here too beef had the smallest amount available for absorption, even though it had the largest concentration overall.
“Grasshopper, cricket, mealworm, and buffalo worm could provide excellent sources of iron, calcium, copper, magnesium, manganese, and zinc in human diets depending on the recipes and portion sizes,” the researchers write in their paper, which appears in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry. That doesn’t mean people need to start eating insects right away – or eating meat at all, for that matter, as vegetarians and vegans would point out. But when the question is how to provide a nutritious, environmentally conscious food source to the billions of people that still struggle with food security, this study gives one more reason that bugs really might be a top choice.

Here are 7 reasons why you should buy Apple’s latest flagship smartphone

The Apple iPhone 7 was launched amid much fanfare yesterday. The iPhones this year, aren’t as exciting as non-S year devices are, but there is no denying that the coverage did make us believe they are. Or it was probably Tim Cook and Phil Schiller emphasise on, “It’s the best iPhone ever” as every year. After the several leaks out there, there were no surprises left at the launch event. However, the latest announcement does give us reasons why we could consider the iPhone 7. Here’s a quick look at 7 of our favourite.

1.Completely re-designed cameras
Apple has put in place an entirely new dual camera system for the iPhone 7 Plus with dual 12MP sensors. The iPhone 7 comes with a 12MP camera, and both feature optical image stabilisation, larger f/1.8 aperture (f/1.8 and f/2.8 for Plus model) and 6-element lens for brighter and more detailed photos as well as videos.

The new iPhone 7Plus comes with two cameras for better images. Image: Apple

The iPhone 7 Plus’ 12MP telephoto camera enables optical zoom that is almost 10x times digital optical zoom. There’s a Quad LED, which means 4 LEDs, 50 percent brighter than the iPhone 6s. Adding to all of this, is the highlight – RAW photography.

2.Double the storage for similar pricing

Apple has dropped 16GB and 64GB units, and will offer 32GB, 128GB and 256GB variants. This means the storage has been doubled. The company claims that the prices will be same (at least in the US, looks like). If the prices are same, then users may eventually get double the storage at similar prices as the iPhone 6s. However, the company has left us only with a

starting price of Rs 60,000, and the incremental prices are yet to be disclosed.

 3.Water and dust resistant

Finally, your iPhone will be water and dust resistant. This is definitely one of the most awaited features, and the best borrowed from Android counterparts. Now, haven’t we been waiting for this. The device can be submerged under 1m water for about 30 minutes.

4.Bigger battery
Apple has said that the iPhone 7 comes with the ”best battery life’ ever seen in an iPhone. The company claims that the iPhone 7 will last two hours longer than the iPhone 6s.

5.Processor performance
The iPhone 7 comes armed with a new A10 Fusion processor, which is about 40 percent faster than A9. It is also paired with a new graphics processing chip, which is 50 percent faster than what we’ve seen in the A9. “The A10 Fusion’s CPU now has four cores, seamlessly integrating two high-performance cores that run up to two times faster than iPhone 6, and two high-efficiency cores that are capable of running at just one-fifth the power of the high-performance cores. Graphics performance is also more powerful, running up to three times faster than iPhone 6 at as little as half the power, enabling a new level of gaming and professional apps,” Apple explains.

6.Design
While the device is identical to last year’s iPhone 6s. However, it now has a glossy, mirror design, rather than the matte metal it is known for. The Jet Back colour is cool and seems richer. besides, rose gold, gold and silver options will be available. The home button has been redesigned, adding Force sensitive just like we’ve seen in the Force Touch trackpads. There’s the Tactic Engine haptic feedback system just like Apple Watch. The big as expected is the missing 3.5mm headphone jack. However, Apple offers EarPods with a lightning connector along with a free adaptor in the box. Apple has also unveiled its new AirPod wireless earphones that come with a 5 hour battery life and their own charging case.

More than anything, iOS 10 and the optimisation it brings in to exploit the features offered by the hardware is by itself a good enough reason to consider the iPhone 7 as well as iPhone 7 Plus. Apple is known for having a very closely knit hardware-software combination. And considering 3D Touch and the dual camera set up available in the newest flagship is different compared to previous versions, the iOS 10 operating system is expected to very closely integrate with the hardware and be a reason to let you do more. If you’re on the iPhone 6, then there’s definitely reason for you to upgrade considering how important 3D Touch will get.

7.Audio
There’s also an all-new stereo speaker system providing twice the sound. Compared to 6s, one can expect an increased dynamic range of sound and a higher quality speakerphone. The new iPhone comes with EarPods with Lightning connector and a 3.5mm headphone jack adapter so that you can use it with your old headphones. The all-new Airpods get the Apple W1 chip, and promise efficient wireless communication. AirPods will come with the support for Siri for quicker and easier access.

6.Door to HELL,Turkmenistan

The Door to Hell is a naturally-occurring gas field in Derweze, Turkmenistan. The fire that’s been burning for over forty years however, did not occur naturally.

Soviet engineers were working on the area to extract gas but the ground underneath the rig collapsed into a crater. Fearing that the hole would emit poisonous gases, they lit the cavern on fire hoping the gas would burn out. No such luck forty years later......
